The local OpenPencil file is the generated native canvas for the design system, article diagrams, code blocks, and full-length key pages.

sync command

The artifact is generated from the shared canvas scene and current project content. Rebuild it when page content, components, or tokens change.

npm run agentic:sync:once

designs/canvas-scene.json normalizes foundations, components, diagrams, code blocks, and full-length screens.

scripts/rebuild-openpencil-canvas.mjs and designs/canvas-rebuild rebuild the native file-backed artifact.
